Senior Capstone Project Goal
Project completed: April 2005

The Internet contains a large group of pinball hobbyists and enthusiasts who operate many sites and are quite organized, but are missing one (I think) very important site. The rec.games.pinball community seemingly doesn't have one comprehensive database of where they can find their favorite machine in a local public location, the condition of the machine, price, etc. There are a few pinball databases to be found online. One such database is the Internet Pinball Machine Database. Another site, which is a smaller scale of what I'm proposing, is the Twin Cities Pinball Database. Yet, other sites keeping track of machines are similar to the site for locations in southeast Wisconsin -- a haphazardly updated webpage. The PLDB will be user-driven, cohesive site for pinball enthusiasts looking to share and find information regarding playing their favorite tables.
